We are so excited to announce our very unique Jennie Elliott Only experiences. These experiences will be live auctioned off as part of the Gala, so get your tickets and come bid with us. Some of these are individual experiences and some are classroom experiences. Last year we had a few parents join in together and buy experiences for their classroom as a group! 2025 - 2026 Live Auction Line-Up!

1. Extra Recess: Extra 15-minute recess added on to recess for a week for a class on a week of the teacher's choosing as determined with the class.
2. Extra Gym: 1 extra PE period for a class on Friday for a month, on a day of the teacher's choosing as determined with the class. 
3. See My Garden Grow!: A personal garden patch in the courtyard for your student to grow their own garden. Comes with a sign for their name, such as "Alicia's Garden", and a teacher to help them choose and purchase their plants, plant and cultivate their garden.
4. VIP Parking 2025-26 A: 1 parking spot in the parking lot for half the year from September 1, 2025-January 30, 2026 (to be determined by the school)
5. VIP Parking 2025-26 B: 1 parking spot in the parking lot for half the year from February 1, 2026-June 27, 2027 (to be determined by the school)
6. VIP Assembly Seating A: Preferred seating for 2 people at assemblies of the family's choice for the 2025-26 school year (to be reserved and booked with the Principal a week in advance of the event)
7. VIP Assembly Seating B: Preferred seating for 2 people at assemblies of the family's choice for the 2025-26 school year (to be reserved and booked with the Principal a week in advance of the event)
8. VIP Assembly Seating C: Preferred seating for 2 people at assemblies of the family's choice for the 2025-26 school year (to be reserved and booked with the Principal a week in advance of the event)
9. Principal for a Day Grade K-3: Will be on the day of a Fire Drill so the student gets to help Ms. Tahmazian with her fire drill duties, visit some classes and read a story to a class, put on a flag vest and help with recess supervision, help the office staff answer phones and the door, write and read the morning announcements, have a meeting with the Assistant Principal and help make an important school decision, help choose the new batch of outdoor equipment to purchase and a new book to buy for the library, have lunch with Ms. Tahmazian and the teachers in the staff room.
10. Principal for a Day Grade 4-6: (Details coming!)
11. Popcorn and a Movie 2024-25: For your child's class, a movie and popcorn afternoon on the BIG BIG screen in the gym from the projector system; get cozy in their PJ's, and with their blankets and pillows from home if they wish!
12. "Skip the Line Fast Pass" to Play Day: Make your child or children's play day a dream with a skip the line fast pass for your child or children plus a friend each! 

This year's book fair was another HUGE success! Even with the limited hours over $16,500 of sales were made with a portion of that coming back to the school. 

Thank you to all the volunteers who made this happen and Mrs Watson for all her after hours work to help this run smoothly, we are so grateful.

The book fair is back and we need your help! With over 60 volunteer shifts required this event takes an army to run. Please consider signing up for a shift or two if you are able!

Our second annual Jennie's Night Out Gala & online silent auction is ramping up, starting with our ticket sales for the Gala on sale now for the event happening Friday April 11, 2025 at the Early Grey Golf Course. This year we are offering a limited quantity of tickets at early bird pricing. Head over to the event page and get your tickets!

This is a fun, parents night out, community building event. Upon entry you will receive your welcome drink, be welcomed by a buffet of appetizers, we will have all the online silent auction items on display, a live auction and much more! Our hope is to provide a fun, relaxing, social atmosphere rich in community building all while supporting an amazing cause of enhancing the outdoor learning spaces at Jennie Elliott. 

Gather up your friends, lock in those babysitters and join us in April!

This is a great fundraiser for our school with a portion of every book sold coming back to the school for a profitable and fun fundraiser. Stay tuned for more updates and details and especially a chance to volunteer for this super fun event.

Dress your best and join us for DANCING, CANDY GUESS, CASH CONCESSION, SELFIE WALLS, and a RAFFLE FOR A SIGNED FLAMES JERSEY. Tickets are $5/guest and can be purchased online at jennieelliott.ca.


In the spirit of having as many students as possible attend this years dance we are requesting one adult from each family attend and that tickets are only purchased for current students at Jennie Elliott. All children must be under adult supervision.

This silent auction is put on by Jennie Elliott School Parent Association to raise funds to support literacy and math needs at Jennie Elliott Elementary School.

By investing in quality literacy resources, we aim to provide our students with the tools and support they need to excel in their education and beyond. Your generosity and support would be immensely appreciated and directly impact the education and future of our students.

• Monday/Tuesday:  Kids get a preview with their teachers to make their wish-lists. 
• Wednesday/Thursday:  Kids shopping opportunity with their teachers. 
• Wednesday from 4-6pm :  Family shopping event!

Children get to preview the fair, make a wish list, bring the list home to discuss with family and shop with their class and/or with parents/guardians in one of our after school family shopping events.

This is not only a fun event for the children to purchase new books but for every book purchased a portion of the sale goes back to the school as a fundraiser to purchase new books for the classrooms and school resources.
